:o) This is my first entry as a 26 year old.

The weekend was wonderful. Lots of food, drink, laughter, fun and relaxation.

We stayed at his Mother's on the Friday night as his car was going into the garage first thing Saturday morning, after we picked it up in the afternoon it was straight over to my parent's house where the beer started to flow as soon as we got out of the car.

My best friend turned up with my present (here's the surprise) a basket that she had made up with all Body Shop stuff in...! I think she has been taking lessons on gift buying. It was brilliant.

That evening my Mum, Dad, Partner and myself went out for a meal. The restaurant actually had Mead, so Dad and myself (after the beer and the wine) started on that. We were a bit tipsy by the end of the night.

In the restaurant was a water feature with a big paddle wheel in it. It didn't work so my Partner and myself spent about 15 minutes spinning this thing round trying to figure out why the momentum wouldn't keep it going. The conculsion..? the wheel was weighted wrong and the water flow wasn't powerful enough. I know it's sad but we are like that, always figuring out why stuff works and if it doesn't - why it doesn't...!

On the Sunday, which was actually my birthday, I opened the presents and then we went back to his Mum's as she was taking us (My Partner, his brother, herself and me) out for a late birthday lunch.

She had bought me a few presents but the best was a Ty beanie baby cat and a cake with a candle in it. :o)

But the best presents were from Him, as well as the tangible gifts, I recieved lots of cuddles and kisses and words of Love.

After driving back home, we snuggled up close in bed and talked about the past, present and the future and drifted off into sleep in each others arms.
