On Saturday I went back to Talland and had a lesson with the Head Stable Girl (Marie) on an ex Eventer called Folly. Folly has competed at Badminton and Gatcombe Park in the international horse trials so you can tell she isn’t your normal school horse.

Now when I got there I wandered into the school and walked straight into Pammy, not the best of starts. Her husband Brian was just sat watching a guy exercise a small (15.2hh) horse, then Pammy got on it. That’s when it dawned on me – the horse was Amanti..!

Now that may not make a lot of sense to you but Amanti is a top class international dressage horse and worth a bloody fortune (look him up on the internet). She got on it and proceeded to Piaffe round the school. My jaw was on the floor. It has been so long since I have seen proper Dressage. It brought tears to my eyes.

Amanti is so cute, he has the most gorgeous eyes and he looks like he could start to talk as he is so expressive.

I would kill to ride him.

Anyway, getting back to the point, when it was time for my lesson it started to rain so we had to go into the school.

Pammy was still exercising Amanti. So there I was on a strange horse trying to keep out of Pammys way. Marie was getting shouted at by Pammy telling me how to do stuff. So I paid a basic fee but had a lesson taught by Pammy :o)

So I am back there this Saturday, hopefully on Folly again and who knows another proxy lesson with Mrs.Hutton. Now that would be cool.
