The weekend started of fine, lie in on Saturday, got the house sorted finally, Rupert bought me a computer desk and we got ADSL installed.

Things started to go downhill on Sunday. The night before Roop rebuilt my PC with Windows 2000, it failed twice on install, then it crashed whenever you tried to open a program or do anything that required a little bit of memory.

To cap it all, Roop was doing a file transfer to me with all my stuff, pictures, documents, HTML etc and it crashed.

I hadn't got the file on my PC and it had gone from his...

...I was in tears, I was at the end of my teather.

I was in a seriously bad mood.

In the end Roop gave me 128Mb out of his PC so I could use my PC and managed to recover the missing file *phew*.

So today I bought a new 256Mb memory stick. That's £50 I could have done without spending.

Lovely.
