Rupert and myself went to see the new Scooby Doo film last night.

After the first 2 minutes I had had enough. The film was fantastic till the characters came in. They had to be the most annoying people on the face of the planet. The only good character was Rowen Atkinson.

To be honest I was never keen on the cartoons but I knew Rupert liked the cartoons and wanted to see the film, so I thought I would give it a try. I was more into Garfield and Dennis but my real favorite is Taz. I could never sit down and watch cartoons, they never held my attention and I didn’t find then too interesting, I remember watching one, The Cities of Gold or something, ran for about 16 weeks, I watched them all but missed the last one and I never did find out what happened.

Anyway I digress from ripping Scooby to shreds...

Bubbles was right about the Shaggy character, he did sound like the original. He was quite cute as well. The other bloke I could have punched, probably wouldn’t have made any difference to his face as he looked like he had been hit with a frying pan anyway. The most likeable one was the girl in the red (Don’t they ever change their clothes…?). At least she looked and sounded half normal even if she insisted on standing with her hands behind her back.

Hopefully the Austin Powers film will be better, or at least not as annoying.
