Fireworks and Exams Cool weekend. We went to a Bonfire Bash on Saturday night, the guy must have spent Thousands on the Fireworks display, it went on for about 15 minutes. He laid on free food and the best bit was the free bar :o) I caught a cold. Yes after everything I have been through these past few weeks I am now topping it off with a cold. Yesterday was spent mooching round the house. Rupert cleaned both our cars (bless him) then we went on a food shopping spree. To say I spent a fair bit in Sainsbury's is an understatement. Whenever he comes shopping with me I can guarentee the bill will go up by at least £20 - £30. Nevermind it's all part of the fun of living together and I wouldn't swap it for the world. ******* I have decided to go ahead and do by BHS (British Horse Society) exams. There is a chance I can take my Stage 1 this December but to be honest I haven't got half the stuff I need, ie. Show Jacket, Show Jodhpurs, Long Riding Boots and Gloves. Plus there are the books to buy not to mention the actual fees which are around £120. I am going to talk to my instructor sometime this week to clarify a few points then sign up for next year. What makes it slightly easier is the exams are held at the stables where I am already, so I don't have to travel anywhere and I have the advantage I know the horses I will be riding. I have no excuse not to do it really and certainly no excuse for failing. My own worst enemy is myself and my lack of confidence in my own ability. Confidence Building is on my To Do list. ** 0 Comments** |
