I got a mail via friendsreunited from a girl I went to 6th form with.

She lived round the corner from me and every Fri/Sat evening we would get ready at her house, we drank whatever was available and listened to the latest tunes - USURA Open Your Mind...classic.

Anyways I hadn't heard from her since leaving 6th Form, mainly beacuse I was with my (then) fiancee Kev and she was with her (now husband) Kev.

The mail was what she was doing now, he son etc and then 2 lines. 2 lines that, well I can't describe it, bit like shock but not as dramatic.

"Was just talking to an ex collegue of man whose son was good friends with 'your Kev' apparently he has a 7 month old son called Oliver and got married on New Year's Eve. Don't know who to"

I didn't know what to say to that. I have only just replied...a week later. Kev is married - with a son. I can't get my head around it. At all.

This is the guy I was meant to marry (thank god I didn't but thats another story) and I still wear the ring he bought me, well I gave him the money for it, so I feel a bit funny wearing it.

But then I think, I bought it, I now live with my best friend, who is my soulmate and a far, far better person all round than Kev so there.

Do you think I should stop wearing the ring..? or am I just being silly...?

I have never been in this situation before and its a strange one. Well for me it is.
