Its all systems go for Friday, the house is a tip and we haven't even begun to bring things out of the attic.

Someone has already taken the house that we are in at the moment, they are in the same situation that Roop and myself were in when we took the house nearly two years ago. First house together etc.

Two years....It's strange, on one hand it doesn’t seem that long ago, yet on the other hand it feels like it was ages ago. I can barely remember what it was like living without Rupert.

We will be moving our furniture over the weekend, we only give our house up on Monday which is handy, it would have been better if we could have moved over the Bank Holiday weekend but we went home instead.

My parents will be coming down to visit us the weekend after we move in. They helped us to move into this one but are on holiday this time. Perhaps we can persuade Roop’s Mum to help.

I am excited that we are moving to a bigger and hopefully better house but I am sad that we have to leave this place, it was our first home, it has so many memories, admittedly not all of them good but they are still memories for me to cherish in future years.

I feel safe in the current house, I hate being alone in certain houses, some I just don’t feel *at home* in – if you know what I mean. Fingers crossed that I feel as safe in my new house.

Fingers crossed that I have as many, if not more, happy memories in this new place.
