It’s fixed.

Rupert is the Best and I love him. Thanks to him, I am back on Windows 2000 and the PC is purring away quite happily.

Wow what a weekend. It was really busy. Friday night Rupert rebuilt my bike and we went round the estate, me on my bike and him on his scooter.

Saturday, Rupert bought himself a funky new mountain bike. Looks really flash in an understated way, Front suspension and other cool gizmos. What a shame Mum wants my bike so I will have just to get a new one ;o) That evening we cycled round Tewkesbury it only took about 45 minutes but by the time we got home I was knackered.

I am so unfit, but we have vowed to go on a bike ride most evenings. To be honest I am enjoying more than what I thought I would. I am not a big fan of exercise and I don’t like going for walks beacuse I have had a few bad experiences when out on walks as my stomach started to play up after eating lunch. Use your imagination. See told you it wasn’t pleasant.

On the Sunday we went for a ride to the local school which every year holds a weekend kite festival, the weather was phenomenal, really clear blue sky and just the right amount of breeze. We stayed for a bit and as we didn’t have any money on us we couldn’t buy a kite. Roop was really disappointed. So we went home to get some. But when we got home we ended up having a water fight, me in a moment of madness in Sainsbury’s bought 2 Mega Water Pistols. Duh..! I was soaking, so was Roop and Harry the dog from next door was watching us in amazement through the fence. You could see him thinking “Bloody nutters”.

After we got dried and changed we went back to the school and Roop bought a stunt kite, now we are just waiting for some wind, last night was just so calm, we sat out after dinner and it was so peaceful. It was one of those times I will always remember.

Tomorrow we are going to see the Scooby Doo film and another bike ride. I am tired just thinking about it.

I am still working on the pictures page. Now we have ADSL and my PC is working again it shouldn’t be too long now. I think before and after shots will be included depending on how brave (or stupid) I am feeling.
