Tonight we are heading home for a long weekend.

It will be good to see the parents and pets as well as my bestest friend in the whole wide world.

We have a wedding tomorrow - although we are just going to the night do, probably go and see my parents on Saturday and perhaps go for a meal then on Sunday Rupert, Daniella and myself are "doing lunch". Then its back home in time for work on Monday.

Its nearly our 2 year anniversary and Roop dosen't want to celebrate it. he just wants a nice meal but no gifts. Which is a shame as I have found the bestest most perfect thing ever. Should I ignore what he says and get it anyway...?

2 years...sometimes it seems so much longer and other times its like yesterday when it all started back in January 2000 (Yes things started before we made it official). I haven't exactly been the most understanding of girlfriends at times but I think I have been one of the most caring, if that can count. And sometimes Roop hasn't been the easiest person to live with, BUT and its a big but, I wouldn't swap any of the time we have been together.

Ever.
