Today I had a lucky escape.

I managed to place a bid on eBay for 3100 euros insted of 31 euros.

I had put the comma in the wrong place.

Thank goodness no one bid after me with a silly amount to try and win - otherwise I would have paid 3100 (£2000.00) euros for a Zippo worth 23 euros (£15.00).

*Phew*

Another good excuse NOT to join in with the Euro....
