He gave me a card and a lot of kisses.

He said he couldn't imagine life without me.

He said he hoped we would have a lot more anniversaries together.

I couldn't agree more.

The past year has been interesting to say the least.

There has been tears of sadness and of happiness.

There have been disagreements. Some serious, some not so serious.

There have been threats of parting company.

There have been talk of being together for a long time.

But mostly there were words of love.

I want this next year to be different.

I want it to be less fraught and more loving and understanding of each other's needs.

We both want each other and that's all that matters.
