Well it’s been a few days since my last entry and although a lot seems to have happened not much is worth reporting.

The weekend was spent cleaning, everything was taken out of the room and then bleached or hoovered within an inch of its life.

But I still have all the ironing to do. I keep putting it off. I even spent the evening folding 250 posters for Rupert’s work instead.

Rupert is still being annoying and trying to guess his present. He is starting to doubt his “odds on favourite”. He can doubt all he wants. He will find out what it is on Christmas Day and not a moment sooner. I on the other hand, am quite willing to wait.

My Mum has been on a cleaning spree as well for when we go home. The cats have been evacuated from my bedroom and the whole room has been hoovered and polished as Roop is allergic to cat hairs. Poor Tally, his bean-bag has been relocated to the hall and Charis has had her way blocked on top of the wardrobe. I will take them a big bag of prawns to cheer them up.

I finish work on Thursday for Christmas so at the moment I am just tying up all the loose ends here at work. At home I am going to clean out the fridge, defrost the freezer and generally tidy up. Exciting isn’t it..?

So apart from that, nothing else is going on. Until next week and it’s the Go-Carting Challenge. Who will win – Roop or Me…?
