Cocktails, Dreams and Chaos

Spring is in the air, the sun is shining, the birds are singing, the lambs are bouncing round their field and I am stuck in the bloody office talking to numpties on the phone.

*mute* “F**king idiot” “press the right button on the mouse you moron”.

At least the weekend was better. As its Spring – it was time to get down to some serious cleaning.

First the garden. Once we had raked up all the leaves and dead branches we built a small (that word is important) bonfire. Roop lit it and we poured fuel on it so it wouldn’t smoke as much. Our lovely (I’m being sarcastic) neighbour who had been quite happily sat inside watching the TV – we can see over the fence into her house – decided she would sit outside, knowing full well we were burning stuff as there was a bit of smoke.

She then started to complain about our major fire hazard. It wasn’t even a molehill size. It was out within 15 min. Moaning bitch. I really hate her. She is only in her late 20’s maybe early 30’s but you would think she was about 50 with her attitude. We love winding her up at any opportunity. Cruel – maybe, fun – most definitely.

Then we decided to rearrange the living room. Move the TV from the corner to the middle of the side wall, ironed the carpet, nothing too exciting. We thought it would only take a couple of hours at the most. 5 hours later we still hadn’t finished.

We did a bit more last night but have come to the conclusion we need a bigger house. Nothing too major, just 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a garage and no neighbours. All for about 50k. That should be easy to find…if you live in LaLa Land.

So….tonight I am going to finish of the living room, then start on our bedroom. I should have it finished in a few days.

Then this weekend we are off home to Blackpool. How much fun can a girl have…? Seriously I am looking forward to a break. It should be nice to see everyone for a few days before its back to the grindstone and saving for the trip out to the US in May.

Anyway best get back to the numpties.
