I got a grand total of 5 questions correct out of about 70 on University Challenge.

Thats about 7% (I asked Roop to work it out for me).

I was hopeless at maths at school. In the 5 years of senior school my hightest mark was 19% and my lowest was 2% and that's because they gave you marks for spelling your name correctly, as you can guess, I actually got no questions right.

I have never ever needed to work out the circumference of a circle or what a+b-c-(d shagging e)=Z means.

It's all bollocks, and if you are unlucky enough to need something working out...thats what calculators and the internet are for.
